Of the 12 CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) nations in the list, except Turkmenistan, all were in the top 25 cheapest countries, making it the cheapest region in the world for broadband. The region had an average monthly price of $13.96.
The U.S. is one of the most expensive developed Western nations at 134th place overall, and an average package cost of $55.00 per month.
